Clarendon Specialty Fasteners Welcomes Swift Aerospace to the Group
We're delighted to announce that Swift Aerospace has joined the Clarendon Specialty Fasteners group (part of Diploma PLC). The acquisition announced today (December 15, 2025) marks an exciting milestone for Clarendon Specialty Fasteners as it continues to expand its capabilities and market reach in strategic market end sectors.
Swift Aerospace is an excellent fit for Clarendon Specialty Fasteners ("CSF"). Founded in 1992, the business brings over three decades of expertise in serving the aerospace sector. Swift Aerospace specialises in delivering value-added fastener distribution services, serving Tier 1 and Tier 2 aircraft parts manufacturers and airframe/aerostructure specialists. The business operates from three strategic locations: Welwyn Garden City (UK), Toulouse (France), and Melaka (Malaysia).
Swift Aerospace's commitment to service excellence, customer relationships, and innovation aligns seamlessly with CSF's core values and operational approach. The business will operate independently within the CSF group under its existing brand, allowing it to maintain the service standards and established relationships that have made it a trusted partner for its customers and suppliers.
Rupert Gerber, Managing Director of Swift Aerospace, will remain with Swift for the short term to help oversee a handover of key responsibilities to CSF. Swift Aerospace will remain a standalone business within the Clarendon Group and report to Clarendonās Group MD - Paul Sanders.
Swift Aerospace has an excellent team of 43 dedicated employees whose expertise and commitment to customer success complements the CSF culture and we welcome each and every one of them into the wider Clarendon Specialty Fasteners Group.
"Swift Aerospace is an excellent strategic fit for CSF," said Paul Sanders, Managing Director of Clarendon Specialty Fasteners. "This acquisition strengthens our capabilities and market position in the aerospace sector, particularly in the strategic UK, European, and Asian markets where both businesses have seen healthy organic growth. Swift has built a strong reputation through its dedication to service excellence and specialist component expertise, and we are excited about the opportunities this partnership will create for growth and collaboration across our broader Diploma Controls sector platform."
CSF is delighted to welcome Swift Aerospace into the group and looks forward to building on this foundation as both businesses continue to develop their global operations and serve the aerospace industry with enhanced scale, resources, and capability.
