Welcome MGC Aerospace!

Clarendon Specialty Fasteners, part of Diploma PLC, is pleased to announce the acquisition of MGC Aerospace, a specialist distributor of aerospace fasteners, hardware and consumables based in Tarporley, Cheshire.

Since launching its fastener distribution business in 2021, MGC Aerospace has grown from strength to strength under the leadership of founders Gemma and Gary Tomkinson establishing a strong reputation for product availability, technical expertise and rapid fulfilment across OEMs, MROs and aerospace operators globally. The business operates across 65,000+ product lines to EN, ASNA, NAS, MS and AN specifications, holds Airbus approval alongside EN9120 and ISO 9001 certification, and has particular expertise in metric and European-standard aerospace hardware and specialist helicopter and rotary-wing applications — a capability that meaningfully expands CSF's offering alongside its existing fixed-wing business.

MGC Aerospace will continue to operate under its own brand as a standalone business within the Clarendon Group, maintaining the service standards and customer relationships that have been central to its success. Gemma and Gary Tomkinson will remain in their leadership roles, reporting to Clarendon Group MD Paul Sanders.

This acquisition represents the third addition to the Clarendon group in FY2026, following Swift Aerospace and Spring Solutions, and reflects the group's continued ambition to grow its capabilities and market presence across the global aerospace sector.
